Anyone can put a logo on their website. We actually earned ours.
Springfield Roofing has spent years building a reputation across Northern and Central Michigan as a commercial roofing contractor that does the work right the first time. That reputation is backed by manufacturer certifications, industry memberships, and safety credentials that most roofing companies either don’t have or don’t bother mentioning. We mention them, because they matter when you’re trusting someone with a roof over a building full of people, product, or equipment.
Every certification on this page means our crews were trained, tested, and approved by the organization that issued it. Not self-proclaimed. Verified. We also hire and train our own roofers through the Michigan Works! Apprenticeship Program, so the people on your roof aren’t just certified on paper, they were built up by Springfield from day one.
Installing a roofing system without proper manufacturer certification is like performing surgery after watching a few videos on it. It might look fine on the surface. It will not hold up.
Springfield Roofing has held Duro-Last’s Michigan Platinum Contractor status for three years in a row, the highest tier a contractor can earn for quality work. This isn’t handed out for showing up. It requires a proven track record of installation quality, warranty performance, and customer satisfaction on Duro-Last single-ply roofing systems. If you’re getting a Duro-Last roof in Michigan, you want a Platinum contractor on the ladder, not someone chasing their first certification.
Product certifications tell you we install one system well. These tell you we operate like professionals across the board.

Water doesn't announce itself. It hides under a roof membrane for months, quietly rotting insulation and decking while everything looks dry from the outside. Our FLIR infrared certification means we can detect trapped moisture before it becomes a collapsed deck or a mold problem. It's the difference between fixing a small wet spot now and replacing an entire roof section later.

Springfield Roofing is a member of the NRCA, the leading trade association for the roofing industry. Membership means we stay current on building codes, safety standards, and installation best practices as they change, not five years after they change.

We're a verified ISNetworld member contractor, which means our safety records, insurance, and compliance documentation have been independently vetted. Facility managers and procurement teams who require ISNetworld verification for their vendors already know what this means. Everyone else should ask their next roofing contractor if they can say the same.
Springfield is recognized by the MVAA as a Veteran-Friendly Employer at the Bronze level. We actively hire, train, and support veterans on our team, because people who know how to follow a process under pressure tend to be pretty good at roofing.
A certification only means as much as the people carrying it out. Springfield Roofing hires and trains roofers through the Michigan Works! Apprenticeship Program, and we enroll every team member in the program as soon as they qualify. To date, five apprentices have completed the program with us, building their skills through structured, hands-on instruction alongside experienced roofers instead of just handing someone a harness and hoping for the best. It’s how we keep our bench deep and make sure the quality on a Springfield roof doesn’t depend on which crew happens to show up.
Awarded annually to a select group of Duro-Last contractors nationwide who meet the manufacturer’s highest standards for installation quality and customer service. Springfield earned Platinum status in 2025, adding to a track record we intend to keep extending.

Certifications tell you we’re qualified. Our completed projects tell you what that qualification actually looks like on a roof. Take a look at our recent commercial roofing work across Northern and Central Michigan, or give us a call and we’ll walk you through exactly which certification applies to your project.
